DD college, dehradun was established in 2013 and is a private institute which offers BBA, BA, B.Sc., B.Ed, B.Com, B.Com (Hons) and B.Sc (Ag) at the undergraduate level and offers M.Sc, M.A, M.Com and PG Diploma courses at the postgraduate level. UG and PG courses are affiliated by HNBGU, SDSU, Uttarakhand Sanskrit University and UOU). Admissions to DD college are done through merit as well as entrance based. Additionally, the institute has a placement cell that provides Great placement assistance to its students.

All the candidates appearing either for Entrance Examination or Direct admission have to submit duly filled admission form with attested photo copies of testimonials. Original testimonials are to be shown at the time of admission. The reservations of seats are as per the Hon'ble Supreme Court's decision. The selection of candidates for admission to any course in university seat (50% of the total) and payment seats (35% of the total) is made on the merit list prepared on the basis of the Entrance Test conducted by the college on all India basis as per University orders. 15% seats in all the courses are reserved for NRI/ Management/ Sponsored candidates.
There will be no Entrance Test in this category and Direct Admission procedure is followed. Any seat which remains vacant after expiry of stipulated times, given to a candidate on waiting list will automatically revert back to the general category. The final selection is done after conducting the interview/counseling of the candidate by College Admission Committee.
From the second last semester, students are eligible to go for an interview. Patanjali, cure fit, Zorba yoga, Anytime fitness, and a lot more from India who comes on the campus to hire yoga teachers from DD college. 6 lakhs per annum was the highest package one of senior got in cure fit company and least was 3.5 lakh per annum. 100% placements guarantee College offers but I believe it also depends on the student so I'll go for 99%. So my plan is to join a well-established company who can pay me really good and after getting the experience of at least 5 years I will start my own centre in Dehradun so I can become a famous and well-known teacher who gives Yoga classes.
Curefit, Zorba yoga, Anytime fitness and Patanjali are the companies who give internships and stipend to students. The role offered was a Yoga Trainer. Projects will be held by companies so don't have much information about that but I definitely sure about this that our college also organises such kind of projects to make people aware about the importance of Yoga of the busy people around the globe.

Computer being the main technical support in providing latest and scientifically analysed text and data to the students,the college has three computer labs with more than 250 machines loaded with required software and connected to internet facility

D.D College has large number of text books in science, arts, commerce and agriculture to cater the needs of the students. Additionally, the library subscribes large number of journals, magazines and News-papers.

A well furnished Cafeteria serving quality food and snacks through the day is available within the premises of the college campus.
Properly ventilated, spacious and well-furnished lecture theatre are having the facility of power point presentation for better understanding of the lectures.
